Information on processing your Earnest Money
We can accept your Earnest Money deposit by any of the following methods:
- Personal Check/money order/cashiers check (mail or drop off at any of our locations. )
- Wire Transfer (We bank with TowneBank)
(yes these changed 11/2/2026 when our bank (Dogwood) merged with TowneBank)
24 Hour Closing accepts wire transfers through TowneBank.
For your security, our wiring instructions are provided through ClosingLock, our secure platform. Please access your personalized wiring instructions through the secure ClosingLock invitation sent by our office.
IMPORTANT – WIRE FRAUD WARNING
Always call our office at 704-800-4131 to independently verify wiring instructions before sending funds.
24 Hour Closing will never change its wiring instructions by email. If you receive different wiring instructions, do not send funds until you have contacted our office directly. - Via your secure ClosingLock transaction portal (emailed to you directly from 24Hour Closing upon receipt of your contract)
- Via ClosingLock using the general EMD submission link (prior to receipt of contract opening)
All funds submitted via ClosingLock, whether through the general payment link or through your personal closing portal, will process the same business day or within 24 business hours. Funds submitted BEFORE 1pm EST will be received by 24Hour Closing the same business day. Funds submitted AFTER 1pm EST will be received the following business day. Please allow up to 48 business hours for confirmation of receipt.
